The definition of a gentleman is a man who can play the bagpipes but doesn’t. In a former incarnation maybe Archie belonged to such a man and is now realising how fortunate he was back then. From his body language one could deduce that he is demonstrating the canine version of the human: IF WE IGNORE IT MAYBE IT WILL GO AWAY.

Agree it was a great day. Tell Archie I have had to put up with that for 34 years every day- He only has to thole it for one day a year!
